Privacy Policy
Last updated August 12, 2026
Invoice Tiger is published by Smarter Foundry LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app and this website. The short version: the app keeps your invoicing records on your iPhone, and we do not receive them.
The app does not send us your records
Invoice Tiger stores your business details, your saved customers, and every invoice and estimate you create in local storage on your device. There is no Invoice Tiger account, no sign-in, and no server of ours holding a copy.
This has a practical consequence worth stating plainly: we cannot see your data, and we cannot recover it for you. If you lose or replace your device without a backup, we have no copy to restore. The export feature in the app exists so that keeping your own backup is straightforward.
Information that leaves your device
Your invoicing data leaves your iPhone only when you send it:
- Sharing a document. When you share an invoice or estimate, iOS hands the PDF to whichever app or service you pick — mail, messages, files, or another destination. Where it goes from there is governed by that service, not by us.
- Exporting your records. The export writes a file that you control and place wherever you choose.
- Device backups. If you use iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup, your app data may be included, under Apple’s terms rather than ours.
Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment card details. Apple provides us with aggregated, non-identifying sales and subscription reporting, and may provide anonymized app analytics if you have opted into sharing it with developers in your iOS settings.
Invoice Tiger does not process the payments your own customers make to you. Those happen directly between you and your customer, by whatever method you put on the invoice, and we are not party to them.
This website
This site uses privacy-conscious product analytics to understand whether the page is doing its job. We record page views, clicks on the download call to action, and which frequently asked questions get opened. The analytics are configured not to collect your IP address, and we do not build advertising profiles, run ad-network trackers, or sell any of it.
The analytics library stores an anonymous identifier in your browser’s local storage so repeat visits are not counted as new people. Clearing site data removes it. The site sets no advertising cookies.
When you email us
If you write to support@invoicetiger.app, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message. We use it to answer you and keep it only as long as we need for support history. Please do not send us customer records — we do not need them and would rather not hold them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information a company holds about you, and to object to certain processing. Because the app holds your records on your own device, most of those rights you can exercise directly: the data is already in your possession, and deleting the app deletes it.
For the limited information we do hold — support correspondence and website analytics — write to support@invoicetiger.app and we will action your request. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used under California law.
Children
Invoice Tiger is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be noted in the app or on this site.
